Coronation Steet star Catherine Tyldesley has teased what we can expect upon her return to the ITV soap.
After a seven-year absence from the Cobbles, the actor is reprising her role as Eva Price, with recent announcements confirming she’s not alone.
Former Shameless star Aaron McCusker will be playing Eva’s other half Ben Driscoll, with former EastEnders star Pauline McLynn as Ben’s mum Maggie.
Eva will be bringing her daughter Suzie back with her, alongside Ben’s two children.
“It’s Cath Tyldesley. I play Eva Price and I wanted to introduce you to my new family,” she said, before Ben and Pauline said hello, with Ben noting it was his first day filming at the Rovers.
“Stay tuned for all the drama and all the giggles,” she added, coyly.
Eva is set to take over the Rovers, with Ben confirmed as the new landlord.
Corrie’s executive producer Kate Brooks recently shared: “We are beyond thrilled that Eva is returning as the landlady of the Rovers, with her new blended family in tow.
“The Driscolls do not arrive quietly, so expect big drama, explosive secrets and raucous knees ups galore.”
