Secrets, confrontations, and hidden agendas take centre stage in Coronation Street next week as tensions hit boiling point across Weatherfield.
Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien)’s efforts to win over a client backfire, while Carl Webster’s (Jonathan Howard) tangled web of affairs risks unravelling when Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) makes a shocking discovery. Debbie Webster’s (Sue Devaney) health scare throws the Webster household into chaos, and Kit Green’s (Jacob Roberts) past finally catches up with him.

Monday 18 August
Sarah agrees to lead a client meeting at Underworld, unaware that Kit has just delayed Eli by pulling him over and demanding a car search. As Sarah tries to impress, Eli is stunned when Kit turns up at the factory mid-pitch. Furious, Eli storms off until Sarah locks him in the office and carries on regardless.

Abi fumes after Carl flirts with Tracy and reveals his hotel room number. Carl claims it was all a ruse to throw Tracy off the scent, and later reassures Abi there’s nothing going on. But his charm act may come back to bite him.
At No.13, Kevin and Abi share a heartfelt moment, but as Carl arrives to tell her about his encounter with Tracy and how he shut her down, she bundles him out the door.Trying to mend fences, Steve stocks the fridge with beers for Tyrone. But when Cassie asks him to demonstrate his pole dancing skills, things escalate, and Tyrone walks in to find them in a compromising position. Can Cassie persuade Tyrone to let Steve move back in?

Elsewhere, Ronnie worries Debbie is overdoing it at work and ropes in Ryan to help on his day off, which Debbie doesn’t appreciate. Dee-Dee admits to Alya that she has feelings for Ollie, while DI Costello warns Lisa to keep her relationship with Kit professional, which leaves her shocked.
Wednesday 20 August
At the factory, Carla warns Sarah that Eli is bad-mouthing her to clients, accusing her of inappropriate behaviour. Kit is placed on desk duty for the foreseeable future after DI Costello interviews him about Eli’s claims of intimidation, though he tells him that if anyone questions why, to blame his ‘injuries’ to avoid a formal inquiry.
Sarah is furious when she realises Kit’s been threatening Eli, and that David gave him his contact details. Kit later reveals to Sarah he’s been secretly investigating a case linked to Lisa’s late wife, Becky, despite being warned off by DI Costello.

Encouraged by Debbie, Tracy considers giving things another shot with Carl. But Carl meets Abi in the ginnel and tells him that while she’s still sleeping with Kevin, it gives him free rein to sleep with Tracy.
Abi prepares to go to Mallorca but can’t find her passport, while Kevin suggests cancelling, Abi insists he go ahead without her and she’ll follow in a few days once she’s got a new passport.
Carl admits to Tracy he’s in love with someone else, but when she guesses that it’s Abi, how will he put her off the scent?
Carl catches Brody trying to steal a car at the garage and warns him he’ll end up in the STC. Instead, Carl offers to ‘teach’ him how to do it the right way.
Meanwhile, Dee-Dee and Ollie share a kiss but agree to take things slow, though Dee-Dee later admits she might need to keep her distance to protect herself and her heart.

Elsewhere, Gemma lets slip that Bernie caught Brody attempting to run off with the girls. Tim confronts Brody, urging him to trust social services and keep the family together.
Friday 22 August
Carl hides upstairs at No.13 after a night with Abi. While Abi’s out grabbing lager, Tracy spots her nearby. With Abi out Debbie lets herself in to do some cleaning but suddenly gets a dizzy spell and collapses. Carl rushes to help, and Abi returns just in time to call an ambulance and Ronnie while Carl runs back upstairs to hide. After the drama, Carl and Abi embrace, but Tracy sees everything through the kitchen window, a sly smile spreading across her face. What will she do with this information?

At the hospital, Debbie reassures Ronnie and Carl that she’s fine and apologises for ruining Carl’s Wales trip. Carl does his best to hide his guilt over everything he’s hiding.
Tim tells a stunned Sally that Brody planned to do a runner. When Joanie learns that Lou’s been sentenced to four years in prison thanks to Brody, she breaks down. As social workers arrive to assess the family, a piercing scream is heard from the garden…
Carla blames Sarah for the Eli fallout and warns her that multiple clients are now demanding the same discount. Kit sympathises, but Carla piles on the pressure to win back lost business. Meanwhile, Lisa continues her bin feud with David, now keeping a tally of every time his dog barks.
Elsewhere, Aadi announces he’s been let off with a caution and plans to move to India to start fresh. Asha is devastated. Ollie drops by the shop to find Dee-Dee with baby Laila. Dee-Dee reveals she’s her daughter and suggests they grab a drink so she can explain everything.
As Tracy uncovers the truth, Sarah’s career hits a bump, and Carl walks a dangerous line, theres plenty of drama ahead on the cobbles next week!
