Tension is in the air over at Number 41 as Suki reels over the news of her daughter Ash’s engagement. Hurt that she wasn’t told sooner, Suki lashes out at Vinny, but then regrets being so harsh.
After talking things through with wife Eve, Suki apologies to Vinny for her behaviour. But their truce is short-lived when Suki discovers Vinny is planning on travelling to Canada for Ash’s engagement party.
A furious row breaks out, which results in Vinny telling Suki just what kind of mother he thinks she is!
Can the pair ever come back from this?
Avani is expecting Joel’s baby
The Panesars are so preoccupied with their own dramas that they’ve failed to recognise something is bothering Avani. And it’s a pretty major thing – she thinks she’s pregnant!
Fans will remember Avani lost her virginity to newcomer Joel Marshall a couple of months back, but was humiliated after realising the predatory school boy had filmed their intimate encounter.
With Priya and Ravi overwise engaged, anxious Avani enlists Barney’s help. The pair head over to Harry’s Barn, where Avani takes a pregnancy test. Moments later Avani’s worst fears are realised when the result comes back positive.

Next day, Avani tries to find the right moment to tell Priya about the baby. She’s just about to do it, a sudden turn of events stops her. But while Priya might still be clueless, nothing escapes Suki.
Later she spies Avani looking at a family planning website and demands to know what’s going on. Avani admits she’s pregnant as a result of her one-night stand with Joel and candidly reveals she’s getting an abortion.
As Suki struggles to digest Avani’s baby news, it’s time for Vinny to depart for Canada. After seeing him off, Suki heads off for a secret meeting with the Granthi to discuss Avani’s pregnancy. While she does that Avani has a heart-to-heart with Barney where she explains all the reasons she’s decided not to keep the baby.
Will Suki support her decision to terminate her pregnancy or try to talk her granddaughter out of it?
