Hul calls her father at Forrester and informs him that he was a close friend of Tom’s. Focus on that and not the rest, okay? She disconnects as Thomas enters. She reveals that the man who presided at her father’s wedding died last night, apparently due to a drug overdose. Thomas shifts gears and says he didn’t like how Steffy addressed Hul the other day, insisting she deserves an apology, though she is unlikely to receive one. They chuckle, but Hul is more worried about Thomas than Steffy. She urges him to think long and hard before rushing into this marriage.

Poppy flashes to Bill informing her of Tom’s death. She grieves. Bill appears and tells her she was amazing earlier. Poppy tells him he’s always amazing and has completely changed her and their daughter’s lives. Bill says he needs to go to Forrester Creations. She asks if he has a meeting, but Bill wants to talk to Katie. Poppy acknowledges they have a lot to talk about now that Will has a baby sister, but she encourages him not to take too long. They kiss, and as Bill leaves, Poppy murmurs Katie’s name.

Katie admires Paris’ engagement ring and tells her that learning she was engaged to Thomas came as a surprise. Paris understands what it’s like to commit to someone who cannot commit to you and has no intention of going down that road again. She told Thomas so right away. Katie wonders if Thomas was honest with her about Hope. She was everything to him until she wasn’t. Paris learned that Hope was distraught at the engagement. Thomas has been upfront about his relationship with her. Katie questions whether Paris truly feels he no longer has feelings for Hope. Paris says yes, but Hope doesn’t seem convinced.

In the main office, Hope tells Thomas that she still loves him. He is also in love with her. Hope pulls him up for rushing into this marriage, finding it confusing that he is hurrying to the altar. Is he running to Paris or away from her? Hope isn’t claiming she’s the only woman he’ll ever love. Paris is sweet, caring, and stunning, but it feels like Thomas is trying to include Paris in his life instead of Hope. They both knew he was planning a future for the two of them. Thomas admits he wanted that, but Hope wasn’t prepared, which didn’t mean she wanted their relationship to end. She still loves him and believes he still loves her.

Poppy cries at Bill’s house as she reads a news article about Tom’s death on her phone. She recalls their romance during the festival days when he played guitar for her, telling her she was his inspiration. Tom kisses her forehead, and they embrace. Poppy informs him she will never forget what they shared and will carry a piece of him inside her forever. In Bill’s living room, she says, “Tom, I am so sorry.”

Katie is astonished when Bill enters Forrester’s design studio and asks if she ever slows down. He claims he has changed and is relaxed, but she doesn’t believe it. Bill says that now that he has a new daughter, he is taking time to appreciate the little things. Katie inquires about his new family and whether Poppy is everything he remembers. She wonders how it feels to spend his days and nights with someone who has kept a significant secret from him for so many years. Bill grunts.
