Tensions are rising in EastEnders this week as Suki Panesar(Balvinder Sopal) becomes increasingly desperate to stop granddaughter Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) from terminating her pregnancy, all while keeping a life-altering secret from wife Eve Unwin(Heather Peace).
After learning that Avani is expecting a baby, Suki was quick to interfere. Haunted by her past decisions and determined to right old wrongs, she begs Avani to let her raise the child herself. In an emotional plea, Suki promises to support Avani financially, offering to pay all her expenses if she agrees to carry the baby.

Fans will remember how she pushed her daughter, Ash, away after she got pregnant at 19, even pressuring her into an abortion, which strained their relationship indefinitely. Now that Avani is facing a similar decision, Suki sees a chance to make things right.
