Emmerdale’s Vinny Dingle bares his soul to Aaron next week, confessing that he recently tried to kiss someone else.
As Vinny’s wedding to Gabby Thomas gets ever closer, he continues to struggle with uncertainty after developing an attraction to his new friend Kammy Hadiq.
“Aaron realises that Vinny is having doubts about his wedding to Gabby, and when Aaron tries to reassure him, Vinny admits that he moved in for a kiss with someone he shouldn’t have,” explains our Dales insider.
“But despite Aaron having overcome his own struggle with sexuality, Vinny stops short of telling him the person he threw himself at was a man. However, it’s clear his walls are beginning to come down.”
Recently, Vinny has been trying to lose himself in the wedding preparations and push his doubts about his sexuality to one side.
Yet when he finds himself transfixed by Kammy lifting some scrap metal at the yard, it’s clear the attraction to his friend is still there.
Vinny tries to cover when he and Kammy chat about his forthcoming nuptials, though it’s clear Vinny is more rattled than ever when he confides in Aaron.
“Aaron happens to open up about the kiss he shared with Robert on his wedding day, leading Vinny to reveal that he tried to plant a kiss on someone who wasn’t Gabby,” shares our source.
“Aaron tries to reassure him that the smooch doesn’t matter, and he should concentrate on marrying Gabby, but it’s clear that’s easier said than done for Vinny.”
