Next week on Coronation Street, Kit’s secrets are exposed after Sarah’s disastrous client meeting at Underworld.
Elsewhere, Carl and Abi are finally caught out over their affair, and Dee-Dee faces a dilemma over her new love interest.

1. Sarah goes overboard at Underworld
Sarah agrees to take charge of an important meeting at Underworld as Carla is busy. The client, Eli, turns up late as he found himself in trouble with an “overzealous” traffic cop on the way in.
Later, Kit turns up at the factory and Eli recognises him as the policeman who hassled him earlier. Eli is unimpressed to realise that Kit is Sarah’s boyfriend, so he gets up to leave. Sarah has other ideas, as she kicks out Kit and locks Eli in the office so she can continue her pitch!
2. Sarah faces false allegations
Sarah’s tactics certainly don’t pay off, as Eli starts spreading rumours among the other customers, falsely making out that she’s a sexual predator.
Kit also encounters problems, as DI Costello reveals that Eli has accused him of intimidation after the week’s events.
Costello puts Kit on desk duties for the foreseeable future, but he warns the ambitious detective to make out that it’s because of his recent injuries rather than anything else. Is Costello’s strange behaviour starting to raise some red flags?
3. Kit reveals his secret investigation
Sarah discovers that David is partly to blame for the new crisis, as he gave Kit’s details to vengeful Eli. She’s also dismayed to realise that Kit has been threatening Eli.
Later, Kit comes clean about his shifty behaviour, admitting that he investigated a case recently and realised it was linked to an older one that Lisa’s late wife Becky worked on. He requested Becky’s files to find out more, and even though Costello warned him to leave it alone, he continued to piece the clues together in secret…
4. Lisa receives some strange advice
Lisa also becomes a target of Costello’s strange behaviour when he advises her to keep her relationship with Kit purely professional.
Costello slyly suggests that Kit could bring Lisa down with her if they’re too closely connected. But just what is he getting at?
5. Carla gets tough with Sarah
Carla berates Sarah for trying to keep Eli sweet by giving him a discount. She explains that various other customers are now demanding the same treatment – or else.
Sarah finds herself under pressure, as Carla now wants her to find ways to bring in more revenue or recoup some of the losses herself.
6. Carl’s womanising gets complicated
Carl flirts with Tracy and mentions that he’s staying in room 101 at Debbie’s hotel. Abi overhears, but Carl insists that he’s merely trying to cover their tracks to make sure nobody finds out about them.
Carl and Abi arrange to meet up at the hotel, but Carl is flummoxed when he later finds Tracy in his room.
7. Carl issues a warning to Abi
Back on the Street, Carl tells Abi what happened but assures her that he turned Tracy down.
A couple of days later, however, Carl changes his tune by telling Abi that as long as she’s in a relationship with Kevin, it means he’s free to have sex with Tracy whenever he wants!
8. Abi avoids a holiday with Kevin
Kevin prepares to head off to Mallorca with his family, but Abi seeks an escape by making out that she can’t find her passport.
Abi tells Kevin to go on ahead and promises that she’ll follow him once she has sorted out the problem.
9. Carl says too much to Tracy
As they spend more time together at the hotel, Carl admits to Tracy that he loves someone else.
Canny Tracy immediately guesses that the other woman is Abi. Can Carl find any way to persuade Tracy otherwise?
10. Carl has criminal plans for Brody
Carl finds Brody preparing to steal an expensive car from the garage. He warns Brody off, pointing out that he’ll end up back in the STC if he carries on like this.
Just when it seems like Carl is taking a moral stance, he offers to help Brody learn an easier way to steal cars…
11. Debbie collapses
Abi makes the most of Kevin’s absence by inviting Carl to spend the night with her at No.13. In the morning, Abi nips out to the corner shop, while Debbie lets herself in to do some cleaning.
Sadly, Debbie collapses on the living room floor and is found unconscious by Carl. When Abi returns – with Ronnie not far behind – an ambulance is called and Carl is forced to hide upstairs, as he’s supposed to be away in Wales.
12. Tracy rumbles Carl and Abi’s affair
Once they’re alone at No.13 again, Carl and Abi share another passionate kiss.
Tracy watches them through the kitchen window and her suspicions are finally confirmed. What will she do with this information?
13. Tyrone gets more than he bargained for
Steve tries to make amends with Tyrone, who has kicked him out for being negligent while looking after Dorin. The cabbie tries to make amends by leaving some lagers in the fridge for Tyrone.
While Steve is visiting, Cassie playfully suggests that he should show off his pole dance moves again. The atmosphere becomes charged and Tyrone can’t believe his eyes when he finds his mum in a state of undress with Steve. Will this make the existing tensions even worse?
14. Dee-Dee is torn over her new love interest
Dee-Dee admits to Alya that she fancies the law office’s new client Ollie, but fears it would be a conflict of interest if she pursued things.
Dee-Dee later discusses this dilemma with Ollie, who shows where he stands on the matter by leaning in for a kiss. Although Dee-Dee responds, she suggests that it’s best to take things slowly.
Back at home later, Dee-Dee appears to have changed her mind once more. She tells James that she plans to stay professional with Ollie because she doesn’t want to get hurt again after her ordeal with Joel.
15. Ollie makes a discovery
Ollie spots Dee-Dee with baby Laila at the corner shop.
Dee-Dee confirms Laila is her daughter and suggests meeting for a drink so they can chat further.
16. Tim discovers Brody’s plan
Gemma tells Tim that Bernie caught Brody trying to do a runner with Joanie and Shanice on the day of her wedding recently.
Tim confronts Brody over this, pointing out that it’s down to social services to make the important decisions and they need to have faith in the system.
Later in the week, Tim tells Sally about Brody’s antics and she’s just as shocked.
17. Lou’s fate is revealed
Brody is forced to break the bad news to his sisters that Lou has been sentenced to four years in prison.
Later, the social worker arrives at the Metcalfe house, bringing a psychologist along too. It’s confirmed that the family will be permitted to stay together, but will everything change when a shocking scream is heard from the garden?
18. David and Lisa clash
David and Lisa continue to clash over bin-related matters.
While David is griping over rubbish, Lisa shows she can be just as petty by making a note every time she hears David the dog barking from next door. Carla is amused by the feud, but where will it end?
19. Aadi makes his final decision
Aadi informs his family that the police have let him off with a caution over the drugs incident.
He also confirms that he’s finally spoken to Vikram and intends to take him up on the offer of a job in India. Asha is dismayed to realise that Aadi really will be leaving them behind.
