EastEnders fans have reacted to a missing scene in Avani Nandra-Hart’s pregnancy storyline.

In scenes that aired yesterday, Avani decided to have her pregnancy terminated accompanied by Eve. The pair chose to keep the decision a secret from Suki, who planned to raise the baby as her own.

Following the abortion, Suki arrived home to find that Avani had told her parents Ravi and Priya about the pregnancy and the furious pair told Suki about the abortion.

Taking to the soap’s official Facebook page one viewer said: “Thought I’d missed the part where Ravi and Priya found out and how they reacted.

“But looking at previous comments, EastEnders missed that bit out. It jumped from Eve and Avani, straight to her being comforted by her Mum.”

“How could EE not show us how Ravi & Priya found out and their reactions? I’ve been waiting for that,” said another fan.

One soap fan asked: “Why did they miss the part out where Ravi and Priya found out?”, while another simply said they were “gutted”.

Responding to the confused comments, one viewer said they were looking forward to watching the fallout in today’s episode, which will feature lots of reaction from Ravi and Priya.

“We do get to see them flip at Suki in tomorrow’s episode though which I’m looking forward to,” a viewer commented.

While some viewers questioned the decision to omit a scene in which Avani tells her parents the truth, others praised the dramatic choice.

“That was a great scene. And storyline all together,” one viewer said, with another writing: “Loved the desperate look from Suki as she walked in. It played less fractious than I imagined. I do hope Ravi’s boiling inside. It’s not over yet.”

“Brilliant acting by all, the way the actors conveyed their characters’ emotions was so believable and captivating, it really added to the drama,” penned one fan.
