Coronation Street viewers are speculating that the soap may be planning to write off a beloved character, and they’re not pleased about it.
This year saw the introduction of Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) on the cobbles, who quickly kindled a romance with Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce). However, it was later revealed that Theo was married to Danielle (Natalie Anderson), and they had two children together.
Adding to the drama, Theo confided in Todd about his hidden past, revealing he had been subjected to conversion therapy in his younger years.
The truth about Theo and Todd’s relationship came to light after Danielle caught them in a passionate embrace. Despite this, Theo and Todd have maintained their relationship, though it hasn’t been without its challenges.

In a desperate attempt to bring her father back home, Theo’s teenage daughter Millie feigned a pregnancy, while Todd found himself in a physical altercation with Noah (Richard Winsor), who had previously subjected him to conversion therapy, reports OK!.
In the episode aired on 30th July, Todd attended a restorative justice session in an effort to avoid imprisonment. During this session, he discovered that preacher Noah is now involved with Danielle.

Later, as Theo, Danielle and their children gathered for a meal at the Bistro, Todd arrived and informed Theo about Noah and Danielle’s relationship. This revelation led to a heated confrontation, during which Theo accidentally struck his son, Miles (Lewis William Magee).
Furious, Danielle subsequently prohibited Theo from having contact with his children. This development deeply upset Theo, who by the episode’s conclusion, revealed his menacing nature to both Todd and the audience.
Although Todd attempted to reason with Theo and resolve their differences, Theo dismissed him entirely, holding him responsible for the situation before insisting he sleep on the ground floor. He then delivered a sinister warning that failure to comply would mean Todd would lose him forever.

Following this disturbing behaviour from Theo, viewers are now speculating that he might murder Todd in a shocking storyline development. On a Coronation Street Facebook fan group, one viewer commented: “Theo is horrible! Todd needs to kick him out.”

Another supporter added: “I have a feeling he might kill Todd.” A third viewer expressed: “Horrible man can’t stand him, and if he does that to Todd I’ll hate him even more.” Meanwhile, another fan suggested: “I said the same as well, or some sort of abuse maybe.”
