The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is gearing up for a new chapter – and not a moment too soon! Plenty of fans are eager to see Brooke have a real storyline again instead of just kissing Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) at the office or dishing out advice to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).
It turns out Katherine Kelly Lang feels the same way based on her new interview with First for Women.
Lang was clear about her stance regarding Brooke and what she wants to see from her character moving forward.
“She’s a good mom, and she’s learned a lot through her mistakes over the years, but I feel now she needs to take HER life back,” Lang insisted. “She can’t just be Ridge’s sidekick or Hope’s mom. She needs to do something for herself.”
Luckily, Brooke’s on the verge of having a lot more power at Forrester Creations thanks to Ridge’s latest plan to have her team up with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
That’s bound to bring some challenges since Steffy and Brooke don’t get along, but Lang seems to be all for anything that keeps her busy on set.
The B&B star admitted she wanted to work more often and that she was excited to play the material that’s coming up.
Lang also admitted she’s happiest when she’s at the studio, so retirement certainly isn’t part of her vision right now.
In fact, Lang struggles to even picture her life without being able to show up and play Brooke!
“I can’t even imagine being without the show,” Lang confessed. “It would be like a big hole in my heart, like a part of me missing, because I’ve been Brooke for so long.”
Lang offered up her gratitude to Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley Bell before thanking the fans as well.
The viewers have made the show a success all over the world, so Lang wanted to acknowledge that.
Our B&B predictions point to Brooke and Steffy’s feud taking center stage in the coming weeks, but maybe they’ll be able to find a way to work together in peace eventually.
