John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) is battling a lot of demons in Emmerdale and the last thing he needs is another face from the past showing up on his doorstep.
While he continues stave off suspicion that he murdered Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), he’s now having to deal with the return of half-brother Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), who has sensed he’s a wrong-un and is out to prove it.
It’s proving tough to keep Robert at bay, just as another added complication rears it’s head when he’s faced with someone else he doesn’t want to see.
John is caught by complete surprise when Owen shows up at the surgery for his appointment with the Medic.
The last time we saw Owen, he was slipping Robert a date-rape drug after Robert had turned him down.
John spotted this and threatened him with a good old grab of the t-shirt and a ‘get lost before I call the police’, before sending him packing.
John’s warning clearly wasn’t enough as he stands face to face with the sexual predator. It takes a moment for the penny to drop for Owen as he comes to recognise who he is faced with.
