Eva is back with a full blended family. Her partner, Ben Driscoll, will be played by Shameless actor Aaron McCusker. Also joining is Ben’s mum Maggie, played by EastEnders star Pauline McLynn. Eva will also be bringing her daughter Suzie back with her. This is the first time fans will see her since that emotional goodbye. On top of that, Ben is arriving with his two children, so it is a group of five newcomers linked to Eva’s return.

In the Instagram clip, Tyldesley introduced the actors playing Ben and Maggie. McCusker shared that it was his first day filming at the Rovers. Tyldesley ended the video by saying, “Stay tuned for all the drama and all the giggles,” and hints at exactly the kind of chaotic, emotional, and fun storylines fans can expect.

New Landlord and Landlady Take Over the Rovers

Eva and Ben won’t just be staying in Weatherfield, they’ll be running one of its most iconic spots. Ben is stepping in as the new landlord of the Rovers Return, and Eva will become the landlady. It’s a big change for both characters and for the pub itself.

Corrie’s executive producer Kate Brooks confirmed the news and said the team is “beyond thrilled”. She added that the Driscolls “do not arrive quietly,” and promised “big drama,” as the family settles in. Eva’s return opens the door to a new chapter for the Rovers and everyone who steps through its doors. She’s coming back with more responsibility, a new family to manage, and the same lively personality that made her such a fan favourite.
