Emmerdale fans will be facing yet another evening without the soap, amid the ongoing football coverage on ITV.
Last month, it was announced that ITV would be broadcasting the UEFA Women’s Euros 2025, impacting both Emmerdale and Coronation Street for a number of weeks.
The coverage continues with today’s England v Italy semi-final match, which will air from 7pm-10.30pm.
This change to the schedule means Emmerdale won’t be airing at 7.30pm on ITV tonight, and the episode also won’t be available to stream on ITVX today.

However, fans can rest assured that the soap will return to screens during its regular time slots for the rest of the week, starting tomorrow.
Upcoming episodes will reveal the aftermath of John Sugden’s latest cover-up, which saw him framing Owen Michaels for Nate Robinson’s death.

Viewers know that John accidentally killed Nate last year, before dumping his body in the lake. The body was later found by the police and John has desperately been trying to cover his tracks.
Last week, while on a welfare check at Owen’s house, John found him overdosed and losing consciousness. He chose not to help the addict, instead forging a suicide note which confessed to Nate’s accidental death.
In yesterday’s episode, Owen was found dead alongside the fake note, with John believing he was finally in the clear. However, upcoming scenes will reveal that Owen had a solid alibi for the day Nate was murdered.
How will John react to the latest twist in his plan?
