Jordan showed Curtis around the lavish new place she’d put in an offer on. She bubbled about how the kitchen had her dream stove, and he teased her about how back in Baltimore, she had stored her shoes in the oven. Jordan’s realtor called with good news — she got the apartment! “Let me be the first to say, welcome home,” smiled Curtis. Curtis popped a bottle of champagne as the two celebrated Jordan’s imminent move. They marveled at how far they’d come from their days in Baltimore. Curtis noted that he was happy they had gotten to witness one another’s successes. They clinked glasses and the moment seemed to feel a little fraught for Curtis, who pulled back. He quickly moved to leave, citing his dinner plans with Portia.

At the hospital, Isaiah approached Felicia for advice on a personal matter. Without giving away the identities of who he was speaking about, Isaiah brought up Portia’s desire to work things out with Curtis, who he spotted getting cozy with Jordan. Isaiah wondered if he owed it to “the hopeful spouse,” Portia, to say something. Felicia’s advice? “Stay out of it.” She pointed out that if he told the spouse, they would likely accuse them of meddling in matters that didn’t concern them. Isaiah said he had already been leaning toward staying out of it and thanked her for her advice. He then called Jordan and asked her to come to G.H. to see him, telling her, “It’s important.”

Dressed For Success

At Wyndham’s, Portia sought Trina’s fashion advice, stressing that she needed to look perfect that night. As Portia pondered different options, talk turned to Portia’s relationship with Curtis. Trina was happy that her parents were reconnecting. Portia couldn’t help but feel like she and Curtis still had a long way to go. Still, she smiled, there were no more secrets between her and Curtis and tonight could be a fresh start for them. After selecting her outfit, Portia thanked Trina for lifting her up. “I’m so lucky to have my beautiful family together again,” she beamed.

Looking even more stunning than usual in her new dress, Portia arrived for her date with Curtis. He told her she looked incredible and Portia lit up. Over dinner, she told Curtis that she especially appreciated spending such a beautiful evening with him because she hadn’t been sure it would ever happen. They admitted that they had both been nervous about the night. “This time, we should do it right,” said Curtis. The couple went home and made passionate love.

Hungry Eyes

As Tracy and Stella entered the restaurant, they saw Drew and Martin dining together. Martin grumbled to Drew that he couldn’t believe someone as wonderful as Stella would be friends with Tracy. Michael and Wiley entered, and Michael and Drew spotted each other from across the room. As Stella and Tracy discussed their mutual disdain for Drew, Stella wanted to know why Tracy was aligning herself with him to oppose Measure C. “Politics make strange bedfellows,” Tracy offered, explaining that while she loathed Drew and Ezra, working with them was worth it if it got rid of Sonny.

Wiley dug into a sundae and shared his theory with Michael that Tracy was sad because she missed Gio. Michael decided to go chat with Tracy and told her about advising Gio to make the first move in working things out with Brook Lynn and Dante. Tracy played armchair psychologist, suggesting that perhaps Michael wanted Gio to have a relationship with both of his parents because his own kids weren’t going to have one with both of theirs. Michael thought she might be right, dejectedly stating that every day, it looked less and less likely that Willow was going to be in Wiley and Amelia’s lives.

Meanwhile, Drew vented to Martin about Michael living a life of leisure while Willow was working herself to the bone to prove that she was fit to see her kids. Martin stressed that Willow did not want Drew’s help, but Drew was determined to provide it anyway. He then sauntered over to Wiley’s table and sat down with his nephew. Stella rushed over to alert Michael, who glared at the sight of Drew chatting with Wiley.

Hit Parade

Tracy and Michael marched over to Drew and Wiley. “How dare you accost that child?” seethed Tracy to Drew. Drew feigned innocence, but Tracy wasn’t having it. She told Drew that she was going to pull her support of Measure C and “tell Monica in vivid detail everything that you have done. I’m going to break you if it’s the last thing I do.” Stella and Martin noted the threats she made.

Michael asked Tracy to take Wiley back to the pool deck, which she obliged. Once alone with Drew, a glowering Michael told him, “I’m only going to say this once. Stay the hell away from my son.” A smug Drew replied that he didn’t know why Michael was upset; all he’d done was tell the boy the truth, which is that his mother misses him. Martin tried to summon Drew back to their table, but Drew wasn’t done goading Michael. “When are you going to stop lying to your son about his mother?” demanded Drew. Michael responded by punching Drew in the face!

After, Michael went up to the pool to collect Wiley. Tracy huddled with Michael, who told her, “I did exactly what you wanted. I hit him.”

Stella went back to G.H. and began to tell Felicia about what she’d just witnessed at the Metro Court. “I cannot believe the lengths that man will go to to get what he wants,” she said of Drew. Stella spotted Jordan and went over to invite her to join the family for dinner during Marshall’s upcoming visit. Just then, two serious-looking men who identified themselves as agents from the New York State Department of Financial Services, Fraud Division approached Stella. “We have a few questions for you,” said one, as Felicia, Isaiah and Jordan all reacted in shock.

Kiss The Chef?

Sonny was at his house with Donna when there was a knock at the door. He was surprised to find ADA Justine Turner on his doorstep. Sonny introduced Justine to Donna. The little girl, with an assist from Sonny, got Justine to agree to stay for pizza.

After the meal, Justine raved about its deliciousness and was surprised when Sonny said he’d made the sauce himself. “There’s a lot you don’t know about me,” Sonny pointed out. Justine was impressed when Sonny said he’d started cooking when his older kids were younger as a means of spending quality time with them. Sonny escorted Donna up to bed and Donna bubbled to her dad that she really liked Justine. Justine smiled to herself.

When Sonny returned, Justine sang Donna’s praises. Sonny admitted that the little girl had him wrapped around her finger. Justine said she’d come over to apologize to him for repaying the kindness he had shown her by taking a cheap shot at his expense. She noted that she had acted unprofessionally; vilifying Sonny in public and not in the courtroom was not the kind of prosecutor — or person — she wanted to be. Sonny told her he didn’t think she would be receiving those “anonymous” gifts in the future, because “whoever sent them doesn’t want to put you in an awkward position.” They gazed at one another knowingly.

Sonny was showing Justine out when Drew banged on Sonny’s door, identifying himself as Sonny’s congressman. Justine gasped that Drew couldn’t know she was there. Sonny instructed her to hide while he got rid of Drew. “Rough night?” Sonny greeted Drew. Drew said he was there to talk about what Sonny was going to do for him. Sonny scoffed at the idea. Drew explained that if Sonny didn’t comply, his son would be arrested for assaulting a public official. Justine heard every word.

Bullet Points

In her bungalow at the Five Poppies, Josslyn scrutinized the property’s map on a tablet she snagged from a housekeeper. Vaughn returned from gathering intel on the security staff’s comings and goings. Joss explained that using the map, she thought they could narrow in on the “dead zone” where the tracker had lost its signal. Joss’s face fell when Vaughn told her he’d take it from here, as she was “scrubbed from the mission.” Joss protested, confident that she could remain at the resort without Britt seeing her. She insisted that Vaughn needed backup. Still, Vaughn refused. Joss got huffy and left with the tablet to return it to housekeeping. “Don’t worry, nobody will see my face,” she fumed to Vaughn on her way out.

Vaughn sat down on the bed and touched his faux wedding band. Outside, a man dressed as a staffer wheeled a room service cart up to their door and checked on the gun hidden under a napkin. He put a silencer on it and entered the bungalow. Vaughn stood up, sensing something suspicious. As the man reached for his gun, Vaughn lunged for him and they began struggling over the weapon.

When Josslyn returned, she could hear the skirmish inside. She flung open the door and was horrified to see Vaughn’s attacker attempting to strangle him! Joss picked up the gun and tried to get a good shot at the man. She fired the weapon.

Hello Again

Britt sidled up to a staffer to request Christopher Nash’s (Vaughn’s alias) room number. Pascal interceded and sent the staffer on her way. Britt accused Pascal of trying to control her. “Nothing can get in the way of your work,” he chastised her, reminding her that she wasn’t allowed to fraternize with the guests. Pascal stressed that his main task was keeping Britt focused on her work while “he” was away.

Using the name John Moore, Jason arrived at the resort. Pascal was there to greet him. After getting settled in his room, Jason returned and asked Pascal to help him arrange a boat for the next day. As Pascal was absorbed in his tablet, making those arrangements, Britt crossed into the courtyard. Jason and Britt locked eyes.
