An Emmerdale star is said to be engaged to a former member of a drug gang.

48-year-old soap star Lucy Pargeter has allegedly visited 54-year-old Elliott Walker in prison – the criminal helped start up one of the largest amphetamine factories that has ever been busted in the UK.

Lucy reportedly drove from where she lives in Yorkshire to HMP Hollesley Bay in Suffolk, where Elliott is currently being held for six years. Daily Star has reached out to Lucy for comment.

The Sun recently released pictures of her in Hollesley Bay car park, which showed her wearing a white vest and sunglasses.

A source has claimed: “Her relationship has been the talk of the prison because some other visitors obviously recognised Lucy the other day as she’s been on Emmerdale for ages, and Elliott has made no secret of telling other inmates she’s his fiancee.”

The soap actress has not confirmed how she met Walker and it is believed that he is close to being released after he was jailed in 2021.

TV fans will recognise Lucy from the ITV soap, but she also came third on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! back in 2013. She won a British Soap Award for Best Actress as Chas Dingle back in 2019, and has also previously appeared in Crossroads as Helen Raven.
