Emmerdale viewers are convinced Dylan is being taken advantage of by one villain – and they’re already in the village

Emmerdale has aired the return of Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle), but viewers are predicting a sinister twist as he reunites with April Windsor (Amelia Flannigan).
Earlier this year on the ITV soap, Dylan was introduced as a friend of April when they were living on the streets together. When she returned to the Dales, she was soon followed by troubled Dylan, who admitted to having a drug addiction.
In March, Dylan left the village to check into a rehab clinic funded by Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), leaving April emotional as she bid farewell to her friend. This week, Dylan made a comeback to the village.

During Tuesday’s visit to the village (July 29), April was visiting her mum’s grave and spotted Dylan hiding in the bushes before encouraging him to show his face. The friends catch up at the graveyard, with Dylan sharing that he’s now clean from drugs.
Unbeknownst to April, Dylan is suffering from a nasty injury after breaking into Butler’s Farm and being stabbed in the leg with a pitchfork by terrified Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn).
Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) is currently being blamed for the incident after threatening Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), as a feud between the two families grows.

However, Emmerdale fans are convinced Dylan is working for gangster Ray Mullan (Joe Absolom), and he is in danger.
Ray turned up in the hope of buying Lewis Barton’s (Bradley Riches) secret stash of weed at Butlers Farm.
After Ross (Mike Parr) and Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) declined to sell Ray the drugs, but he later cleared out the barn in underhand deal with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley).
Taking to Facebook, Emmerdale fans have been speculating on Dylan’s connection to Ray, with one person writing: “Joe Tate denies sending thugs to Moira’s farm – Dawn ain’t having it – Dylan ends up with the dodgy leg? What’s gonna happen next now that Lydia isn’t pressing charges?!.”

A second pointed out: “Don’t think it was Joe behind it think it was Ray. Dylan is working for him delivering drugs.”
A third echoed: “Dylan he was running errands for people (this was an errand).”
“I’m thinking he’s simply third party and not employed directly by Joe. I doubt if he’s entirely in the know about Moira and Dingle connections!”, predicted one fan.
“Could be through the dodgy bloke Ray who Robert stole the weed from it’s a known fact big time drug dealers use vulnerable young people in their drugs rings ray is also back this week Joe could have links with Ray”, added another.
