Emmerdale‘s Dr Crowley storyline is escalating quickly – with Kim Tate now in serious danger as he makes sinister demands.

Creepy Crowley is on a mission to take Kim’s fortune for himself, having already successfully claimed a quick payout from Joe Tate last week.

In tonight’s episode, Joe continues his efforts to convince Kim to sign up for an investment scheme.

Joe is reluctantly plotting to help Crowley con Kim out of her savings, as Crowley is making dark threats over what will happen to Dawn Fletcher and her family if Joe doesn’t cooperate.

Crowley’s new role as Kim’s love interest “Eddie” puts him in the perfect position at Home Farm to see how Joe’s plan is unfolding.

When Joe puts pressure on Kim to sign the contract, she shocks him by suddenly refusing.

Kim reveals that she has a “personal project” in mind which requires her full focus, so she won’t be sparing any funds for the supposed investment that Joe recommended.

Watching on, Crowley is disappointed to see Plan A going up in smoke…

Later, Joe meets up with Crowley and Shaun just outside of the village and points out that he tried his hardest to comply with their demands.

Crowley refuses to give up and hands over a vial of drugs to Joe – an eerie mirror to their recent kidnap showdown.

“Enough to take down a bull – but please do be careful with the dosage,” Crowley advises.

“It worked on you, didn’t it? Just make her immobile and do whatever it is you need to do until she’s ready to transfer the cash. Perhaps you’ll do the same as me and Shaun here, and be out of the country before she even comes round.”

Will Joe stoop to a new low in following Crowley’s orders?
