EastEnders is lining up more turmoil for Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) next week.
Just weeks after finally grappling with the grief felt for late husband Martin Fowler (James Bye), a fresh new story is being lined up – and it harks back to 2023.
In upcoming scenes, Stacey is thrilled to learn that daughter Lily (Lillia Turner) is making her way back to Albert Square after staying with her dad Ryan Malloy (Neil McDermott).
Unfortunately, the happiness is cut short when mum Jean (Gillian Wright) and cousin Freddie (Bobby Brazier) are forced to break the news that her SecretCam content has been leaked online.
As viewers will recall, Freddie introduced Stacey to the OnlyFans dupe when she was looking for a way to make some quick cash. Under the username IceSKater95, she uploaded feet pictures to the site to pay off her bills and a loan shark.
Her uploads became more risqué at the request of a subscriber, who she later realised was Walford High teacher Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis).
He subsequently stalked Stace’, attempting to rape her and was handed a 10 year stretch in prison.
But who has found the content this time?
Well, Stacey’s convinced it’s troubled teen Joel Marshall (Max Murray), who we’ll see her cross paths with later this week.
She storms over to confront him, but dad Ross (Alex Walkinshaw) leaps to his defence and rushes him home. Joel is adamant that he’s not responsible and even willingly hands over his laptop to Ross to prove so.
Unconvinced, Stacey reports him to the police.
Joel remains confident, but later, Stacey receives some information regarding the outcome of the investigation.
