“I got a phone call, ran into the corner of a flat, and was like, ‘It’s going to be a no, keep watching.’ My agent phoned me and said, ‘Go hand in your notice!’ I was doing six days a week at Tesco — quite the career change!”

“They always say they don’t know where I got my creative bones from. I could not have asked for a better first opportunity. They’re my biggest fans. They’re over the moon.”
