The battle for Inside Soap Awards votes has never been fiercer, with thousands of votes already cast ahead of this year’s ceremony. Now it’s the turn of the Coronation Street cast to state their case for why they deserve your support!

Six popular stars from Weatherfield recently took part in an exciting photoshoot for Inside Soap, which you can see in this week’s issue of the magazine – out on shelf now.

It’s a particularly exciting one for fans of the Webster family, as Sue Devaney (Debbie), Sally Carman (Abi) and Jonathan Howard (Carl) all took part.

Completing the line-up were Jacob Roberts (Kit Green), Ryan Mulvey (Brody Michaelis) and Cait Fitton (Lauren Bolton) after their dramatic storylines over the past 12 months.

The magazine shoot sees the cast discussing their nominations, recent storylines and what’s to come next, so it’s not to be missed in this week’s bumper issue of Inside Soap – which contains 16 extra pages.

The Websters are representing Coronation Street in the Best Family category, while Sue is also up for Best Actress, Best Storyline (Debbie’s dementia) and Best Partnership (with Vinta Morgan, who plays Ronnie Bailey).

Sally is nominated for Best Storyline (Mason’s death & Abi’s PTSD), while Jonathan is in the running for Best Newcomer.

Jacob and Cait are up for Best Actor and Best Actress respectively, while Ryan is nominated for Best Young Performer and Best Newcomer.

Voting for the Inside Soap Awards opened last month and will remain live until 12pm on Friday 29 August.

You can cast your votes across 14 categories, as well as submit suggestions for the Soap Superstar prize – awarded to someone who’s gone above and beyond while providing entertainment over the past year.
