Dylan Tries to Rebuild His Life
Since his dramatic return to the village, Dylan has been desperate to prove he’s changed. After breaking into Moira Dingle’s farm earlier this year and terrifying her stepson Kyle, the teen has been under close watch.
This week, Dylan appeared to be making positive strides, securing a job at The Woolpack. Even Chas Dingle seemed impressed by his determination, telling him she could see he was working hard to turn his life around. Dylan himself echoed that hope, saying: “I feel like I’m turning my life around.”
But his fragile fresh start didn’t last long.
Moira Confronts Dylan
Moira was far from ready to forgive and forget. When she asked to borrow Dylan to help out on the farm, the teen was cornered. Inside the barn, Moira locked the doors and confronted him about his criminal past — accusing him of being one of the thugs who terrorised her family.
In a tense moment, Moira even threatened him with a pitchfork. Luckily, April Windsor and Marlon Dingle arrived in time to defuse the situation, but the damage had already been done.
Chas Issues a Harsh Ultimatum
Back at the pub, Chas was furious to learn Paddy and Mandy had let Dylan stay under their roof despite knowing his past. She made her stance brutally clear: Dylan had to go, or their daughter Eve’s safety would be at risk.
Though Paddy Kirk tried to defend Dylan, he reluctantly agreed with Mandy that their child’s wellbeing had to come first.
“Eve has to be our priority now,” Mandy told him, leaving Dylan with nowhere to call home.
Dylan’s Uncertain Future
In emotional scenes, Paddy broke the news to Dylan, who tried to put on a brave face, thanking Paddy for believing in him. Paddy arranged a place for Dylan in a hostel, but both knew it wasn’t an ideal solution.
With Dylan vulnerable and desperate, April voiced fears that he might return to Ray Walter’s drug operation to make ends meet. Her fears proved right in the final moments, as Dylan was seen climbing into Ray’s car — a decision that could undo all of his progress.
