BREAKING NEWS !! Double Coronation Street exit ‘confirmed’ as two legends ‘go on the run’ for good

Two more Coronation Street legends may be set to leave the cobbles next week as one character makes a surprising offer to their ex.

Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) is set to be left stunned when she comes face to face with former flame Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) in upcoming scenes.

Tracy and Rob very nearly tied the knot in 2014, but their perfect day was ruined when Carla Connor (Alison King) reported her brother to the police after he confessed to murdering Tina McIntyre.

After spending over ten years in prison – minus a few weeks of freedom after an escape attempt in 2017 – Rob is once again on the run.

When son Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll) asked him to donate a kidney to Carla, Rob agreed, planning to make his escape from the hospital before the operation.

However, his plot was uncovered by DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers), who went out of her way to ensure Carla got his kidney.

Despite the hiccup in his plan, Rob managed to make it out of hospital and has been on the run ever since.

Next week, Tracy is stunned when she finds Rob in the ginnel, and actress Kate Ford admits it doesn’t take much persuading for her to take him in.

‘She doesn’t want to get involved in it, but she just feels bad that she’s not helping him because at a time they were in love,’ she explained.

Rob continues to push boundaries as he convinces Tracy to meet with a contact of his to pick up a fake passport so that he can escape abroad.

However, when Tracy accepts the package in the ginnel, she is spotted by an intrigued Mary Taylor (Patti Clare).

Tracy’s later attempts to get Rob out of the house are interrupted by Mary banging on the door.

In the time it takes Tracy to get rid of her, Rob’s legs give out as he screams in pain, leaving Tracy in shock as she finds him on the kitchen floor.

Rob doesn’t want to let this get in the way of his escape, however, and he soon asks Tracy to join him on the run.

‘She can’t believe what he’s talking about, she just thinks it’s crazy,’ Kate teased. ‘He’s got a gaping hole in the side of his body and some sort of infection and she just thinks he’s lost his mind.

‘He needs to get to the hospital, he’s not talking sense. I think it would take a lot to persuade her at this point.’

Will she agree and leave the cobbles to rekindle her romance with Rob?
