Elsewhere, Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Toyah Habeeb (Georgia Taylor) find themselves in hot water with the law when Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) exacts her revenge plan.

As we’ve seen, she’s been squirrelling money away from the Bistro into a fake account set up under Toyah’s name.

Outside, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) gets down on one knee and proposes to girlfriend Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon).

Given he’s harbouring feelings for his ex Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan), something tells us that this will end in tears!

As the celebrations continue, Ken Barlow (William Roache) and Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) exchange gifts on Boxing Day.
