Welcome to the The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
“Well, screw you. I’m just going to run off with Nick and forget I ever met you,” — Brooke Logan, Destiny’s Biggest Champion. When Brooke uttered that line, all we could do was bust out into fits of laughter. How many grandchildren does Brooke have now? How many grandmothers would say such a silly thing, to a man she met when she was in college, no less? And who was Brooke trying to fool? She has been chasing Ridge around the globe in wedding gowns, in her underwear, you name it, for nearly 40 years. Five kids and nearly 20 marriages (most of them to Ridge) later, she’s still going strong. Not far away was the other boy and the BFF sidekick in this high school scenario. Nick wants Brooke to be with him and to stop chasing Ridge, while Eric is determined to do all those things the sidekick would do to make sure his buddy ends up with the right girl. So what if BFF/dad Eric was one of Brooke’s many husbands more than once? This is a twisted high school soap opera with characters who were clearly left back a few times, so they are graduating late, if ever at all. Brooke might have taken Nick’s hand by the end of the episode, but we know she will surely end up in Ridge’s bed before this trip is over.
