Casualty viewers were left gobsmacked as Rich Walker began a secret affair with Stevie Nash, betraying his wife Siobhan Mckenzie. Things are about to take a turn for the worse for Siobhan in the seventh episode of Storm Damage, titled All for Love, as Rich abruptly ends their relationship.
The heart-wrenching scenes will see actors Michael Keogh and Melanie Hill, who portray Rich and Siobhan, at the forefront. With the revelation of Rich’s affair imminent, it’s clear that major drama is on the horizon.
Many Casualty fans might be curious about where they’ve seen actor Michael, 45, before. He’s no stranger to the small screen, boasting an impressive list of acting credits.

The Manchester-born star has featured in a variety of TV shows and even some soap operas over the years. Viewers may recognise him from Coronation Street, where he played PC Basson in 2002, or Emmerdale, where he’s taken on three roles – Charlie Sellers, PC Parker and Will Cookson, reports OK!.
Michael’s other roles include appearances in Waterloo Road, Heartbeat, The Bill, Is Anybody There? and Moving On. More recently, he’s been seen in Hollyoaks as Ryan Turner and Peaky Blinders as a nurse.

He first appeared in Casualty back in 2016 and has also popped up in Doctors in several different roles. Some might also recognise Michael from the film Mrs. Lowry and Son, where he portrayed Mr Lowry, or 2018’s Hurricane.
Michael, currently starring as Rich in Casualty, has found himself back in the limelight due to his character’s central role in the new Storm Damage instalment, particularly because of his infidelity.
Melanie, who portrays Rich’s wife Siobhan on the show, has given some insight into the upcoming plot twist, revealing that Siobhan is left “blindsided” by Rich’s unfaithfulness. The revelation of the affair significantly affects both her professional and personal life.

“It’s like a big punch in the face to be honest. Siobhan had no idea this was coming and so she’s in a terrible state and, what’s trebly awful, is that she lets Cam down because she’s so deflated,” Melanie shared with What To Watch.
She further disclosed that Rich and Siobhan’s marriage has turned loveless. Melanie added: “I think it’s one of those, because they’ve been together for a lot of years, it’s become more like a brother and sister. You hear him say several times that he still loves her, she’s the mother of his child, but he’s simply not in love.”
