Emmerdale’s Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) looks set to be the key in bringing killer John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) to justice, but first – Kim Tate (Claire King).
He’s made many enemies since his return, and it won’t be long before Kim’s name is added to that list when he clocks her secret plans and decides to disrupt them.
Ready to start a new life, Robert bought Annie’s Field from Moira (Natalie J Robb) under the pretence of building a business but instead with intentions of selling to Kim Tate and making a massive profit.
Kim has been itching to get her hands on Moira’s land for years, and Robert is the key to helping her make that happen.

Robert meets with Kim ready to seal the deal under Moira’s nose and Kim tells Joe (Ned Porteous) not one living soul can find out about this deal. An odd thing to say, Robert thinks, as he begins to sense something underhand is underfoot.
He realises that Kim has an overly avid interest in this particular field and wonders, what’s in it for her? Robert heads out to the field to survey it for himself and figure out what Kim has up her sleeve.
Before she can get the deal signed, Kim is forced to leave for Dubai, leaving Joe (Ned Porteous) in charge of getting Robert to sign on the dotted line.
Moira learns that her appeal has been turned down and on hearing she’s in further trouble, Joe goes in for the kill in offering to buy the whole farm.
But when he learns Robert could be the spanner in the works, he’ll have to act fast. Will Robert make an enemy out of Joe too?
