Luke Grimes has taken on a new venture

Yellowstone’s Luke Grimes is gearing up for his very own spin-off series following the conclusion of the popular Paramount Plus melodrama, and is embracing a new mission in the meantime. The actor renowned for portraying Kayce Dutton has taken to Instagram to announce an exciting collaboration with High West Distillery, aimed at supporting environmental preservation efforts.

In an Instagram post accompanied by a video showing him playing the guitar, working with horses, and enjoying a tipple of Rye, he wrote: “I’ve found my favorite spots here in the West where I go to get away from it all.

“But these special places won’t stay wild forever unless we take care of them.

“@drinkhighwest and I proudly consider the West home and we’re excited to announce the next chapter of their Protect the West Initiative, a commitment to safeguard the land and the areas we love for generations to come.”

Fans are given the opportunity to win a trip to High West’s base in Park City if they comment on the post with their favourite location in the Western United States that they believe should be preserved.

Grimes is preparing to saddle up for a Yellowstone spin-off titled Y: Marshals, where his character Kayce will be part of a top-tier US Marshals squad.

Earlier this year, he took to Instagram to share the update, writing: “Cowboys don’t say goodbye, they say see you later.”

In the upcoming series, Kayce Dutton will “join an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana.

“He and his teammates must balance family, duty and the high psychological cost that comes with serving as the last line of defense in the region’s war on violence.”

Yellowstone airs on Paramount Plus
