EastEnders has revealed a new story for Kat Slater and Alfie Moon, as the couple find themselves in trouble next month.

Kat and Alfie have been trying to improve relations with their son Tommy, since he moved back into the family home in March.

More recently, they’ve stepped up to help to the wider Slater family, with Stacey grieving Martin and Jean heartbroken by her partner Harvey’s affair with Kathy.

But next month, the pair are set to face a new challenge, though what this entails is being kept under wraps for now.

New spoilers released by the BBC reveal that on Tuesday, 3 June, “Kat and Alfie get themselves into a predicament”, before Alfie “makes a big gesture” later in the week.

Earlier this year, Tommy disclosed to his parents that he was regularly speaking to an AI chatbot which helped with his loneliness, but he then struck up a friendship with newcomer Joel.

In sinister scenes, Joel secretly filmed him and Avani having sex, and he recently showed the video to a shocked Tommy.

Tommy is set to be “influenced by a friend” next month – is Joel the culprit, and what will the teen be encouraged to do?

Meanwhile, Cindy hosts a relaunch of The Albert, after she forced Kathy to give her the business, but things don’t go too smoothly.

Elsewhere in Walford, Lauren and Peter continue to struggle, while Harvey looks to the future and plans a new venture.
