1. Brody attacks Kit

Following his arrest, Mick sends a message to Brody, assuring him that he’s innocent and has been stitched up by the police.
Kit returns home and discovers Brody trashing his flat. In a bid to calm him down, Kit reasons that Mick is a violent man and he hasn’t been set up. Furious, Brody lashes out and shoves Kit against the wall.
Sarah and Bernie arrive just as Brody makes his escape, and they race inside to check on Kit.
2. Bernie lies to protect Brody

Kit reels when Lisa informs him that Bernie has provided Brody with an alibi for the time of the burglary.
Kit confronts Bernie and points out he must now either tell Lisa that he was mistaken, or charge Bernie with perverting the course of justice.
When Bernie urges Kit to remember that Brody is family, he’s forced to confess to Sarah about his history with Lou and the fact that Brody may be his son.
3. Brody grows suspicious

Kit takes Bernie’s advice to heart and tells Brody he’s willing to drop the burglary charge as long as Brody stays out of trouble – and he doesn’t turn out like Mick.
Meanwhile, Mick receives a vicious beating in prison.
Later, Brody wonders why Bernie would give him an alibi and questions her. Will Bernie tell him the truth?

4. Mick pleads not guilty

Ahead of Mick’s hearing, Kit is confident that he’ll plead guilty.
Lou visits Mick and is horrified to see his injuries. Mick tells her that Kit plotted the attack and that the next one will be even worse unless he pleads guilty.
After the hearing, Lou fills Brody in on the day’s events and reveals that Mick decided to plead not guilty. While Brody is pleased that Mick refuses to be sent down without a fight, Lou masks her concerns about the consequences.
5. Eileen takes her anger out on Brian

Eileen reveals to George and Brian that the painkillers found in Julie’s system were prescribed for her, not Julie. When Brian makes an innocuous remark, Eileen snaps and bans him from the funeral.
After the incident, George tries in vain to comfort Eileen and later confesses to Todd that no matter how hard he tries, everything he does seems to annoy her.
6. Eileen faces a shocking accusation

At Julie’s wake, Eileen gives Brian a letter from Julie. After reading the letter’s contents, Brian is quick to point out that Eileen is the sole beneficiary of Julie’s life insurance and questions why she failed to mention it.
Eileen defends herself and assures him she knew nothing about it but Tracy can’t resist implying that Eileen orchestrated Julie’s death to get the money.
Eileen sees red and later rails at George, blaming him for ruining Julie’s funeral.
7. George makes a big decision about his relationship

Julie’s friends and family play her ‘dream’ game in The Rovers and George makes a romantic gesture by telling Eileen his dream is to marry her.
Eileen is shocked by George’s sudden declaration and is relieved when Jason’s arrival saves her from making an immediate decision. However, as George continues to await her response, what will Eileen decide to do?
8. Debbie fears Ronnie has moved on

Debbie feels slighted when Ronnie introduces her to an old flame, Fiona. Ronnie assures Debbie that there’s nothing romantic between him and Fiona, but Debbie pretends she doesn’t care.

However, when Debbie takes a phone call, she makes out she’s got a new boyfriend in front of Ronnie.
Carl informs Ronnie that he’s barred from the hotel and Debbie wants nothing more to do with him. The confrontation quickly escalates and the pair square up to each other.
9. Carl catches Ronnie out

Ronnie’s interest is piqued when Fiona tells him she has a job for him selling a stolen car. Ronnie meets with the potential buyer but feels guilty when the buyer reveals his wife recently died.
Unable to go through with the con, Ronnie refuses to sell the car and lies to Fiona that the buyer backed out.
As Ronnie calls Fiona, he’s interrupted by the arrival of Carl, who demands to know what’s going on.
10. Carl does a dodgy deal with Fiona

Abi is annoyed when Kevin tells her he’s given Carl a job at the garage and she’s convinced Carl is up to no good.
Once Abi and Kevin are out of sight, Carl contacts Fiona and organises the delivery of an illegal car to the garage.

11. Gary softens towards Lou
ITV
After she’s fired by Maria, Lou storms out and tells Gary that she’s sorry Mick gave him a beating however, she’s been on the receiving end many times over the years.
Feeling sorry for her situation, Gary buys her a drink. How will Maria react?
12. Gary betrays Liam’s confidence

Liam returns to the builder’s yard to continue his work experience following his bullying ordeal at Mick’s hands.
When Ed shares a joke with Liam, Gary quickly shoots Ed a warning look. Liam is mortified to realise that Gary told Ed about Mick locking him in the shed.
13. Theo gets a reminder of his past

Theo is heartbroken when his kids don’t show up for breakfast as planned. He’s further troubled when he spots something on Todd’s phone.
Later in the week, Theo is stunned when a guy called Noah enters the pub and waves to Billy. Theo makes a hasty exit and reveals to Todd that Noah was present at his conversion therapy.
14. Carla seeks clarity from Lisa

After the traumatic events surrounding Craig’s attack, Lisa declared her intention to grab happiness where she could and made a decision about her future with Carla.
Seeking clarity over Lisa’s decision, Carla asks if she really meant what she said about their future.
