90 Day Fiance star Michael Eloshway’s money is at risk of having his assets seized over $20,000 he was ordered to pay as part of his criminal case, while he remains locked up in prison, In Touch can exclusively report.

On April 2, the government filed a notice of garnishment, obtained by In Touch, which revealed their plan to collect on the balance. The filing read, “You are hereby notified that a garnishment is being taken by the United States of America which has a judgment … in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, in the sum of $20,200.00. A balance of $20,200.00 (including interest at the rate of 0.0%) remains outstanding.”

As part of the case, the government fired off a notice to the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, where they believed Michael may have assets.

A rep for the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System noted Michael had a pension plan, but it was refunded in October 2019. The rep said they did not have any assets owned by Michael.

The government has yet to reveal if they plan to go after other financial institutions to look for additional assets owned by Michael.

As In Touch previously reported, Michael was found guilty of possessing and distributing videos of child abuse in October 2024.

Prosecutors accused him of having received, distributed and possessed illegal videos. The government demanded Michael serve 17.5 to 20 years in prison for his crimes.

Michael denied he was seeking out videos with children. He claimed he watched legal pornography and deleted any videos he determined were improper.

Prosecutors slammed Michael’s defense.

“Of the files shared and downloaded, approximately 4,517 contained sadism and masochism,” the prosecutors said.

The government described Michael as “more than just a casual observer who happened to download [illegal videos] when seeking legal pornography.”

Michael’s wife, Aziza Eloshway, and mother, Kerry Eloshway, both wrote letters begging the judge not to throw the book at him.

Aziza wrote, “My name is Aziza, and I am his wife of 11 years. I have known him for over 12 years and can assure you that this conviction is not a reflection of his true character. Mike is a loving father, a caring husband, a loyal friend and, overall, a good and kind person.”

She continued, “We have a five-year-old daughter together. Her name is Olivia and Mike is a very involved parent. She is very attached to Mike as he is a very loving and caring dad. They go on father-daughter dates all the time; they share hobbies like collecting rocks, making bread from scratch and reading books together.”“My family is torn apart, and I know that he has been tortured by his feelings of guilty and regret for the irresponsible mistake that he’s made,” Aziza said.

At sentencing, the judge sentenced Michael to 10 years behind bars, followed by 10 years on probation, which was slightly below what prosecutors recommended.

In addition, Michael was ordered to pay $10,000 in fines and pay $5,000 to two victims featured in the videos found on his computer.

As In Touch first reported, Michael checked into FCI Elkton, a low security federal correctional facility, in January. He recently filed an appeal of his sentence.

He accused the judge presiding over his case of abusing his discretion when ordering him to serve a decade behind bars. The higher court has yet to make a decision on his request.
