We saw how quickly and easily Li Finnegan conducted this paternity test, it’s very possible she already did one years ago and knows who Luna’s REAL father is and wants to keep it a secret.

Li Finnegan has expressed on more than one occasion that Poppy is a total gold-digger, and has preyed on wealthy men over the years.

If Luna is Jack Finnegan’s daughter, that means her greedy mom could get her hands on her sister’s small fortune.  Obviously she doesn’t want her son Finn to have to split his inheritance with his secret sister.

A small percentage of The Bold and the Beautiful fans are convinced that Poppy Nozawa actually slept with her barely legal nephew Finn, and that’s when Luna was conceived.

That would definitely explain why Li despises Poppy and wants nothing to do with Luna.  If Finn is his cousin’s dad, it’s no wonder his mom wants to keep that dark family secret buried.
